Liability Statement

Armed Forces Rodeo Tour (AFRT) contestants acknowledge as a part of their participation that rodeos are dangerous activities and that participation in a rodeo as a competitor, an independent contractor, or volunteer, exposes the participant to a substantial and serious risk of property damage, personal injury or death. AFRT contestants acknowledge that participation in AFRT sanctioned events will involve such a hazard. Being fully aware that participation in AFRT sanctioned events will expose said participant to substantial and serious risk of property damage and/or personal injury or death, said participant hereby releases the AFRT, sponsors, any AFRT sanctioned rodeo production entity, their affiliated, related or subsidiary companies, and the officers, directors, employees and agents of each entity of organization from liability for and all property damage, personal injuries or other claims arising from participation in AFRT sanctioned events, including claims known and unknown, foreseen and unforeseen, future or contingent. AFRT contestants shall not now or at any time in the future, directly or indirectly, commence or prosecute any action, suit or other proceeding against the aforementioned arising out of or related to the actions, causes of actions, claims or demands hereby waived, released or discharged by the AFRT contestant. This provision shall be binding upon each AFRT contestant, his/her spouse, legal representatives, heirs, successors and assigns.
